The men’s choir met for the first time
yesterday and it was the first time this
year that I’ve felt any happiness about
Chico’s upcoming Bloomsday Celebra-
tion. Regardless of how the rest of the
evening goes, the choir will be great! Now
I just need to figure out what they should
wear. I don’t want full naval dress, I’m
not even sure what British sailors in 1904
wore. But we need some sort of unifying
garment: a scarf, a cap, a chambray shirt.
.Hmmm. I’m going to make a trip to the
Army-Navy surplus store this weekend
and see what I can find. Suggestions
welcome.
